The work undertaken by LALT strives to enhance the University’s reputation for quality teaching, and innovation in student engagement. Research and evaluation expertise is embedded within the department following the integration of the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute (LHERI) and merging the specialisms of both departments to robustly support Lincoln’s teaching and learning community.
Research and project activities aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan enable exploration, development, evaluation and dissemination of good practice, enabling academics and professional service staff who teach, to deliver excellent teaching and a great student experience.
