LALT uses overarching themes aligned with the University’s overarching Strategic Plan, and Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Strategy across all its activities, with a primary focus on supporting teaching and learning through peer-led projects; enhancing pedagogical practice; and leading on core key performance indicators supporting teaching excellence.
The work of the team falls into three core components – programmes, projects and evaluation – with all three contributing to capturing and sharing practice to support all those who teach. These include academic induction, development pathways, facilitating networks and collaboration, and tools to recognise and support diverse cohort demographics.
