Gaining National Teaching Recognition – Applications open

Are you interested in gaining national teaching recognition?

Advance Higher Education (Higher Education Academy) is currently inviting Universities to nominate staff for the prestigious National Teaching Fellowship Award and recognise outstanding individual contributions to teaching excellence and student outcomes in Higher Education and also those achieved by teaching partnerships through a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence.

Following this national scheme up to three teachers and/or professional staff, including those early in their academic career, and one collaborative partnership can be shortlisted per institution to be considered for national recognition in 2019.

Staff interested in applying should contact Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching (LALT) to log your interest and complete an expression of interest form at LALT@lincoln.ac.uk. You may also contact Jasper Shotts, Dean of LALT at jshotts@lincoln.ac.uk to discuss this further. Applicants shortlisted through this process will receive support workshops and a mentor to guide them in developing their applications.

Please note, the deadline for expressions of interest for CATE is 31st January and 1st February 2019 for NTFS.  The closing date for full submissions to Advance Higher Education is 27th March for CATE and 3 April 2019 for NTFS.
