Summary:

Dr Clare Miller engages students with public health topics, challenging their communication skills through producing short videos.  The activity builds presentation and communication skills in a digital age. This also builds a new set of skills for students when looking at using video technology as a medium to convey information relating to public health topics.

Methods and tools used:

Students made use of a variety of video editing software to create and edit their assessment. This included using iPads and iMovie as well as using the adobe premiere pro suite to edit their content. Once the assignment was completed the students then uploaded and submitted their formal assignments via Panopto.
