WordPress Redevelopment

WordPress is a website creation platform that originally the University hosted internally enabling staff and students to create online sites and blogs. The original platform hosted 7,000+ sites created by staff and students.

This year the Digital Education & Student Life team in collaboration with ICT have been working to deliver an upgraded and more responsive blogs network, with the objective of migrating the original content to an externally hosted server. This newly hosted platform will provide more support for users and a variety of themes and plugins to choose from.
