LALT Conference: Independent Learning
Following on from last year’s well received LALT Showcase: Education in a Digital Age, we are pleased to announce the LALT Conference on the theme of independent learning.
In collaboration with the LALT Engagement Team this one day event will aim to inspire, showcase and explore the theme of independent learning. This event is open to all staff and students! The LALT Independent Learning Conference will showcase research, teaching practice and methods of supporting students with independent learning with contributors from across the LALT community here at the University of Lincoln.
There will be a whole host of activities planned, ranging from drop-in and bookable sessions including a keynote from Prof. Liz Thomas, the #LALTCHAT Student & Staff Panel discussion and a presentation delivered by Microsoft. The drop in sessions range from: short presentations (lead by both student and academics) to hands on workshops (from academics and professional services).
Support desks will be planned by teams from: ICT Services, Digital Education and Student Life, Students’ Union (Academic Opportunities), Doctoral School, UROS (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Scheme), Lynda.com and the Library.
