Blackboard Upgrade July 2020
To update the software and move to a ‘Software as a Service (SaaS)’ application, as locally hosted sites will no longer be supported by Blackboard. Working in close collaboration with ICT, the Digital Education project focus is on:
- User Testing;
- Language and Style package updates/development;
- Helpsheet and Guide resources;
- General Communication to staff and students.
Project Questions & Answers
July 2020Upgrade taken place and live version launched. Review period will run until end of October 2020 to allow for student feedback to be included.
June 2020Testing and re-testing underway, along with work on language and styling packages.
May 2020Testing scheduled for 1st and 2nd of June with testing due to be completed by 12 June. Comms plan in place.
March 2020Test area to be created with information so initial user testing can be undertaken.
